Study Programmes
Programme Intent
Destination 3 provides supportive education and vocational training that helps young people develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed for employment and independent adult life.

Within Destination 3, learners are supported through small class sizes and personalised approaches that recognise where each individual is in their development. Some young people may work toward formal qualifications, while others focus on building confidence, developing vocational abilities, or expanding their life experiences.

Destination 3 combines practical vocational training, English and Maths development, and work-based learning opportunities within Synolos workshops and environments. Programmes are flexible and can include accredited or non-accredited learning, allowing learners to progress at a pace that suits their individual needs while building practical skills, creativity, and the confidence to imagine and work toward their future.

Internal Work Experiance
All learners will take part in simulated work experience opportunities as a core part of the programme. This is an expected element for all individuals, as it plays a vital role in preparing young people for future independence and employment.

Opportunities take place within at least one of Synolos’ workshops, shop environments, or manufacturing activities, providing structured and supported experiences that reflect real working environments. Through this, learners develop practical work-based skills, build confidence in workplace settings, and gain a clearer understanding of how different roles and environments operate.

These experiences are carefully supported to ensure that each learner is able to engage at a level that suits them, while still being encouraged to take part, try new things, and gradually build confidence over time.

Learners benefit from opportunities to:
  • Develop practical work-based skills through hands-on experience
